..the lottery. It seems that I have won one of the lottery slots for Ironman Hawaii 2006.
Doh!
Now the question is what to do about the fact that I'm already registered for Ironman Wisconsin just 5 weeks earlier.
This news came as a bit of a shock to me, as I'd actually forgotten I entered last fall. This really throws a wrench in my plans for the season. Oh well, there are far worse things than finding out you get to go to Hawaii. :) WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

Grab with BOTH HANDS my friend! You can always try to qualify another year. Plus, I think it would be so cool for to rock in your age division as a lottery entry - represent for those of us who can only get there that way. :)

Lucky dog! You can always use Wisconsin as a training day, walk most of the run or decide not to do the run at all.
